I've lived in Kona since June of 1986 and worked with many people who have decided to make the move to Hawaii. After working with both sellers and buyers over the years, I've started my own company, Ferrari Pacific Realty, a real estate corporation specializing in Buyer representation.
In the most recent past, I was the Principal Broker and Designated Realtor® for Kona's single most successful real estate company averaging the highest production per agent on the West side of Hawaii Island. How's that for a mouth full of statistical data?
I have been a "Jack of all Trades" ranging from Computer Systems Engineer to Florist, Corrections and Release Counselor at the San Mateo County Jail to Scuba Instructor here in Kona, Commercial Glass Artist working in multi-layered etchings to teaching seminars on Time Management at the university level, add to that General Contractor and Gymnastics Instructor and you can begin to see what finally lead me to Hawaii and doing what I enjoy the most... working with people to buy, sell and trade real estate.
I've been enjoying real estate since January of 1996. In that time I have received consecutive awards of distinction from the Kona Board of Realtors¨. I work on the boards Caravan Committee which insures that all properties that are available are seen by all Realtors¨. I sat on and was chairperson of the boards Grievance Committee which dealt with ethical issues in real estate as dictated by the National Association of Realtors¨ Code of Ethics. I trained other Realtors¨ how to use the computerized data base for the Hawaii Information Service Multiple Listing Service (MLS). I've served on the Board of Directors for Hawaii Information Service, our MLS, giving me first hand knowledge of the inner workings of my chosen industry.
In the beginning of my real estate career is was with Century 21 Big Island where I went from producing $1.25 million my first year and being named Rookie of the Year to selling over $4 million the following year. During my time with Century 21 I received my Real Estate Brokers designation and was made a member of the Century 21 Masters Club; a designation reserved for those Realtors¨ demonstrating the highest levels of service and performance and the Prudential Presidents Club, a group recognized as being in the top 5% of all Prudential agents in the world.
I became a co-owner of the Prudential West Hawaii Realty franchise in November of 1998 and was designated the Principal Broker in March of 1999. Since then, I've continued to teach seminars to other Realtors¨ on Value Centered Goal Setting and Time Management. I'm a very goal oriented person and believe that the quickest and longest lasting path to success is integrity, loyalty and honesty in the pursuit of service for my clients.
